Noah Dean Season 2022

2022: Pitched in 19 games, all out of the bullpen ... Went 3-2 with a 4.15 ERA with seven saves in 26 innings ... Set the ODU record for career saves with 18 ... Struck out 46 batters with 16 walks ... Allowed 13 hits, 12 runs and opponents hit just .141 off of him ... Did not allow a run in his first 13 innings ... Did not allow a run in his final six appearances ... Went a career-long 3.1 innings against Charlotte, allowing just hit in and no runs with six strikeouts.

2021: Conference USA All-Freshman Team ... Appeared in 19 games, all out of the bullpen ... Was 0-1 with a 4.64 ERA and nine saves ... Pitched 21.1 innings, allowing 16 hits, 11 runs, while striking out 44 and walking 14 ... Held opponents to a .203 batting average ... Averaged two strikeouts an appearance ... Struck out the side against NSU in his first appearance of the season ... Had streaks of 6.2 and seven-consecutive innings without giving up a run ... Recorded a strikeout in 17-of-19 appearances, and in both of those outings, pitched less than one inning ... Registered at least two strikeouts in 15-of-19 appearances, including a career-high tying four strikeouts, four times ... Registered the save in ODU's 4-3 win over Jacksonville in the NCAA Regional opener.

2020: Made four appearances on the bump, earning one win and two saves ... Pitched 5.1 innings with 12 strikeouts ... Recorded four strikeouts against Towson (2/14).... The only Monarch pitcher to not allow a run or a hit all season.

PREP: Played baseball at Pinelands Regional ... Competed in the upperclass All-Star game and the underclass All-Star game. 

PERSONAL: Son of David and Lauren Dean ... Has one sister, Madison ... Chose ODU for the campus and the baseball program... Picked ODU over JMU, Seton Hall and Xavier... Majoring in leadership with a minor in cybersecurity.
