Stephanie Miller begins her fifth season with the Old Dominion University women's soccer coaching staff after returning to her alma mater in 2007. She returned to the Monarchs bench after a year as an assistant coach at the University of Delaware and is now a full-time assistant working with the goalkeepers.

Miller was between the pipes at Old Dominion University from 2001-2004 and still ranks among ODU's best goalkeepers statistically. She posted an .822 save percentage and a 1.18 goals against average in her senior season for the Monarchs.

During the 2005 season, Miller served as a goalkeeper coach at Old Dominion. In the spring of 2006 Miller became an assistant coach at Frank W. Cox High School in Virginia Beach, VA. Cox was 20-2-2, state runner-up and had a No. 10 national ranking by adidas/NSCAA.

In the fall of 2006, she was an assistant at Delaware, where the Blue Hens went 8-8-3 for their seventh consecutive .500 or better season. She helped coach senior goalkeeper Bonnie Mills to a second team All-CAA selection with a .818 save percentage and a 1.18 goals against average.

For the Lady Monarchs, Miller coached Lauren Tupman to one of the best careers in ODU history, as the Virginia Beach native broke the career record for shutouts, as well as setting single season marks for shutouts, goals against average and goals allowed. Tupman earned a second team All-CAA selection under the guidance of Miller in 2008.

Miller earned her degree in physical education from Old Dominion in 2005, majoring in sport management with a minor in marketing.
