NORFOLK, Va. - The Old Dominion University men's and women's swimming teams will host William & Mary on Saturday, March 13 at the JC Scrap Chandler Pool. Due to COVID-19 the meet will be closed to the public.
The men's meet will begin at 10 a.m. followed by the women at 2 p.m. ODU will honor its 11 seniors before the women's meet. This year's senior class includes Alizee Brossier, Nikia Campbell, Emily Carella, Rachel Dinkel, Katie Ellett, Rebecca Mayo, Stephanie Nardone, Paige Romine, Amanda Whelpley, Peter Durisin and Parker Harp.
The ODU men last swam three weeks ago at the Coastsal Collegiate Swimming Association Championships. Noah Wilkins won the 100 freestyle, and Peter Durisin won the 200 breaststroke, while Jacob Cobb placed second in the 400 IM and the 200 backstroke.
The ODU women's squad took to the pool two weeks ago at the Conference USA Championships. Tara Enneking won the 200 IM at the C-USA Championships, while Alizee Brossier placed sixth in the 200 backstroke.
The W&M men come into the meet with a 2-1 record after wins over Delaware and Davidson. The Tribe lost the season opener to George Mason. The William & Mary women's squad enters Saturday with a 3-0 mark after wins over George Mason, Richmond and Davidson.
