NEWPORT NEWS, Va.- Old Dominion Sailing competed in three different states in four different competitions with the team competing in Newport News leading the way with a fifth-place finish.

In the Webb Woolum event, Helena Allocco and James O’Leary finished in fourth place in Division B and A Division, which included Jonah Willoughby and Caspian Collett finishing in sixth place.

The Oyster Bowl and Oyster Bowl Women’s event had two teams from the Monarchs in each. In the regular Oyster Bowl Marina Conde and Emily Priest competed for Monarchs 1 and Esther Ireland and Molly Hanson competed under Monarch 2. For Oyster Bowl Womens Olivia Gilmore and Cadence Goodnight competed under Monarchs 1 and Arabella Duer and Petra Humphrey competed under Monarchs 2.

Monarchs 1 finished in eighth and Monarchs 2 finished in 10th place in the Oyster Bowl event. For the Oyster Bowl Women's event Monarchs 1 finished in seventh place and  Monarchs 2 finished in 12th place.

Odu finished with a team 15th place finish at Open Atlantic Coast Championship Round 1B.

Pierce Brindley and Madison Bivins finished Division B in 13th Place and Division A who included Diogo Silva, Blake Goodwin, and Lindsey Kaufmann finished 18th place.

The Monarchs have two competitions on the road this weekend at Women's ACC’s in St. Mary’s City, Md. and at Nevins Trophy in Nassau, N.Y.
