NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion University will host Texas A&M University-Commerce in the annual Homecoming game on Saturday, Sept. 23. ODU Athletics announced on Tuesday along with game promotions for the 2023 campaign.
ODU opens the home slate on Saturday, Sept. 9 against Louisiana with fans asked to wear the Tradition T-Shirt. Check the ODU Bookstore for the T-Shirt release. The home opener will also be First Responders Night. ODU will honor and recognize our local heroes! First responders who present a valid badge will receive ticket discounts.
Saturday, Sept. 16 against Wake Forest will be Youth Day. Children 12 and under can receive a discounted ticket and have postgame field access for photos with the ODU Spirit Squad and Big Blue.
The Homecoming contest against A&M Commerce is tentatively set for 3:30 p.m. but is subject to change.
The Monarchs bring in App State on Saturday, Oct. 21 for the Oyster Bowl and Family Weekend. This will be a weekend to celebrate our ODU Families. ODU is 8-3 all-time in the Oyster Bowl since its return in 2011.
ODU hosts Coastal Carolina on Saturday, Nov. 4 for Military Appreciation Day. Discounted tickets for all active duty, retired and military personnel with valid military ID will be available for this game.
The regular season finale is set for Saturday, Nov. 25 against Georgia State and is Senior Day.
