ODU Announces Promos for Home Opener Against Louisiana

NORFOLK, Va. – With the 2023 football season about a month away and the Old Dominion Football home opener 39 days away, we wanted to prepare Monarch Nation for all of the gameday activities they can expect to see in and around Kornblau Field at S.B. Ballard Stadium this season.
 
Game Info
The home opener on Saturday, Sept. 9 against Louisiana is set for 6 p.m. on ESPN+. It will be the first meeting between ODU and the Ragin' Cajun on the gridiron. It will be just the third meeting between ODU and a school from the state of Louisiana. ODU defeated Louisiana Tech twice as members of Conference USA.
 
The official game ball will be dropped in by the Window World Parachute jump team prior to kick off.
 
The game sponsor for the home opener will be Sentara and it is First Responders' Night. Join us at S.B. Kaufman Mall
The exciting pregame atmosphere returns at Kaufman Mall beginning four hours prior to kickoff. Anthony Rosano & the Conqueroos will perform on Kaufman Mall beginning at 4 p.m. Kaufman Mall staples, the big screen TV and Beer Garden return in 2023.
 
Tickets

The Deck returns for its second year and has expanded to being an add-on to an individual ticket. Single-game and season tickets for The Deck are on sale. The Deck is a premium hospitality area on the west concourse of S.B. Ballard Stadium. It offers a great atmosphere, top-notch amenities and the sights and sounds of gameday from the open-air premium hospitality area with complimentary catering!
