Hansson Leads ODU on Day Two at NIC

ELKART, Ind. – Gustaf Hansson advanced to the B-Final of the 100 backstroke to lead Old Dominion swimming on the second day of the National Invitational Championships in Elkhart, Indiana.
 
Hansson had the best individual finish of the night for the Monarchs placing eighth in the B-Final for an 18th place spot in the 100 backstroke with a time of 50.04. Jacob Cobb finished 37th with a time of 51.39

The 800 freestyle relay team of Noah Wilkins, Carson Doll, Thomas Ray and Ryan Lincicum finished ninth for the best finish of the night for ODU. They finished in a time of 6:41.87.
 
The women's 200 medley relay team of Tara Enneking, Gabby Tosi, Martina Ciriesi and Laila Webb placed 31st with a time of 1:45.17.
 
The men's 200 medley relay team of Gustaf Hansson, AJ Profaca, Oskar Iwarsson and Noah Wilkins finished 17th with a time of 1:31.06.
 
In the women's 400 IM, Ciriesi placed 33rd with a time of 4:28.36.
 
Hugo Eriksson came in 30th in the men's 400 IM with a time of 4:06.79.
 
In the men's 100 butterfly, Liam Redman placed 25th with a time of 49.16, while Iwarsson took 41st with a time of 50.45.
 
Ryan Lincicum added a finished of 42nd in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:42.30.
 
In the women's 100 backstroke Mary Dunworth notched a 52nd position with a time of 58.35.
