NORFOLK, Va. – Coming off an impressive 81-72 win on Super Bowl Sunday over UAB, the Old Dominion men's basketball team heads back on the road this week starting with a Thursday night matchup at Marshall.

The game tips at 7 p.m. from the Cam Henderson Center in Huntington, W.Va. and will be streamed on ESPN+.  Saturday's game is also a 7p.m. start on ESPN+.

ODU and Marshall met on Feb. 3 with the Monarchs using a 24-5 run midway in the first half to knock off the Thundering Herd 79-64.  C.J. Keyser had 19 points, Kalu Ezikpe added 18 and Austin Trice chipped in with 17 points and 18 rebounds to help lead that victory.

ODU (10-15, 5-7) has Keyser leading the team in scoring average (14.3 ppg) with Trice (12.9 ppg) and Ezikpe (11.3 ppg) close behind.  Trice leads in rebounding averaging 8.5 per contest to rank second in the league, while Mekhi Long (6.9 rpg) and Ezikpe (6.3 rpg) trail him.  

Marshall (9-16, 2-10) is topped in scoring by Taevion Kinsey averaging 19.4 points per game to rank fourth in the league.  Andrew Taylor is also ranked in the top 20 in the league in scoring averaging 13.8 points per game to be tied for 18th.  On the boards, Obinna Anochili-Killen leads Marshall averaging 6.6 rebounds per game and he also leads in blocked shots with 78.

Against UAB, the Monarchs turned the ball over seven times which was a season low against the Blazers.  Long had a career-high five steals to go along with 17 points, while Trice recorded his ninth double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds.

Old Dominion will next head to Bowling Green, Ky. For a Saturday night matchup with the Hilltoppers of Western Kentucky.
