ATLANTA – Jacqueline Tinneny finished in sixth place in the 400 IM to lead ODU on Friday night at the Conference USA Championship. ODU is in sixth place heading into the final day of the meet.
 
Tinneny placed sixth in the 400 IM with a time of 4:24.14, while Rylee Moss won the B-Final in a time of 4:55.22. Katie Ellett finished in 12th with a time of 4:32.01.
 
Freshman Tara Enneking finished eighth in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:03.49. Paige Romine won the B-Final to place ninth with a time of 1:03.92.
 
Emily Carella tied for 13th in the 100 butterfly with a time of 56.11 and Stephanie Nardone took 15th in a time of 56.18.
 
In the 200 freestyle, Miranda Byrne placed 16th with a time of 1:53.22.
 
Jacklyn VandePoel registered a time of 55.89 to place 11th in the 100 backstroke.
 
In the final event of the night, the 400 medley relay, the Monarch team of VandePoel, Enneking, Carella and Summer Miln finished sixth with a time of 3:48.74.
 
The 2020 C-USA Swimming and Diving Championships will conclude Saturday, February 29, with prelims starting at 10:30 a.m. ET. Day four finals will begin at 6 p.m. ET streamed live on CUSA.tv.
