NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion prepares to begin its 10th season of football on Monday, Aug. 6 with a program high 22 seniors, including 18 fifth-year seniors.

Below are some notes to learn about the Monarchs heading into fall camp.

ODU is tied for 11th in FBS and third in Conference USA with 18 returning starters.

Offensive Line Togetherness
Old Dominion is one of 18 FBS schools that return five starters from the 2017 season. ODU brings back left tackle Isaac Weaver, left guard Tony Barnett, center Nick Clarke, right guard A.J. Davison and right tackle Chad Hendricks.

Offensive Line Career Starts
ODU ranks 22nd in FBS with 100 career combined starts between seven offensive linemen. Center Nick Clarke leads the way with 34 starts, right tackle Chad Hendricks has 21, left guard Tony Barnett has 18, left tackle Isaac Weaver has 12, right guard A.J. Davison has nine, Andrew Lawson has five and Eric Magwood has one.

Near the Top
Senior defensive end Oshane Ximines is second among active FBS players with 21 sacks, second only to Louisiana Tech's Jaylon Ferguson, who has 27. Ximines set the ODU single-season record last season with 8.5, and the 21 career sacks is the career mark.
