TAMPA, Fla. – The No. 26 Old Dominion men’s tennis team (8-6, 0-0 Conference USA) fell by a 4-3 score to Utah State (8-5, 1-0 MW) on Friday morning in Tampa, Fla.
“All the credit goes to Utah State,” said ODU head coach Dominik Mueller. “They brought the things that made us good in the last couple weeks; passion and execution. We hung in there and fought back, but simply started to play our games too late. Great thing about this weekend is that we have two more matches, so no reason to drop our heads. We have another tough opponents in USF tomorrow.”
On Saturday, March 10, ODU will square-up against South Florida at 1:30 p.m. Old Dominion will close the weekend on Sunday, March 11 against George Washington at 1:00 p.m.
