He earned back-to-back Sun Belt Coach of the Year honors after leading MT to a pair of conference tournament titles and NCAA tournament berths in his first two seasons. The Blue Raiders have been ranked as high as No. 32 nationally since Borendame has taken over. They have won four of their last five games with their only loss coming from No. 22 nationally ranked Tulane. MT enters the weekend with a 12-3 overall record.
Meet FAU
Ricardo Gonzalez is in the midst of his third season as the head coach of FAU’s men’s tennis program. He has improved the number of wins in each of his first two seasons improving to double-digit wins in both. Last year FAU finished with an overall record of 13-8. This year they are on track to surpass last year’s win total as they currently hold a 12-6 record. The Owls currently boast the No. 62 nationally ranked doubles tandem in Remi Chancerel and Gabriel Sidney. They will play five of their last eight regular season matches on the road.
Meet Charlotte
Jeremy Feldman is only in his second season as the head coach of the 49ers men’s tennis program.
