Meet Christopher Newport
Christopher Newport enters the 2017 season nationally ranked 14th in the country in the pre-season poll from D3hoops.com. Head coach John Krikorian's squad posted a 27-3 record last year and advanced to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament. The Captains were ranked eighth in the final poll following the season. Christopher Newport has captured both the regular and post-season titles in the Capital Athletic Conference in each of the last two seasons. The Captains were 30-2 two seasons ago and advanced to the Final Four for the first time in program history.
