With less than a week until spring football practice, ODUSports.com takes a look at each position group for the Monarchs. Today we look at the offensive line.

Offensive Line
Old Dominion set a single-season school record with 2,559 rushing yards to lead Conference USA, while the offensive line gave up just 19 sacks, finishing second in C-USA. The offensive line returns five linemen that have started games and several players to add depth to the position.

Center Nick Clarke began the season on the Rimington Trophy (best center in FBS) Watch List, and started all 13 games in the middle of the unit, one of two offensive linemen to start every game.

Chad Hendricks played in all 13 games, starting the final 10 at left tackle, while Tony Barnett started six of the last seven games at left guard as a redshirt freshman.

Devin Hannan earned Conference USA All-Freshman Team honors after starting all 13 games up front. He started the first three at left tackle, the next three at left guard, and the final seven at right tackle.

Senior Darius Garcia started the first six games at right tackle before suffering a season-ending injury.

Senior Manny Matiarena played in 11 games in a backup role and on special teams, while the Monarchs were able to redshirt five players, including Isaac Weaver, T.J. Storment, Andrew Lawson, Jace Mallory and A.J. Davison.

Freshman Elijah River enrolled at ODU in January from Fork Union Military Academy and adds valuable depth to the group.
