...ON SATURDAY'S SPRING GAME:
"We'll put them in a series of reps in different field zones," said Wilder of Saturday's scrimmage. "Our fans will be able to see us drop the ball down and play from a scrimmage. We'll open the game with a kick-off vs. kick return and wherever the ball is, just like a game, we'll play it. The offense and defense will get out and compete."

SCRIMMAGE FORMAT:
Segment #1 - 1 Offense vs. 1 Defense = - 32 yard line (8-12 plays)
Segment #2 - 2 Offense vs. 2 Defense = + 45 yard line (8-12 plays)
Segment #3 - 1 Offense vs. 1 Defense = + 25 yard line (8-12 plays)
Segment #4 - 2 Defense vs. 2 Defense = -32 yard line (8-12 plays)
Segment #5 - 1 Offense vs. 1 Defense = -32 yard line (2 minute drill - 1 timeout for offense and defense)
Segment #6 - 2 Offense vs. 2 Defense = -45 (8-12 plays)
Segment #7 - 1 Offense vs. 1 Defense = +10 yard line (max 4 plays - offense must score a touchdown, defense must keep offense out of the end zone)

POINT SYSTEM:
OFFENSE:
6 points = Touchdown
3 points = Field Goal
1 point = Extra Point

DEFENSE:
6 points = Interception
6 points = Fumble
3 points = Stop Offense (Force a Punt)
3 points = Missed Field Goal
2 points = Safety
1 point = Made Extra Point if interception/fumble are returned for a touchdown

"The scoring system we use, the last two seasons we've done it, it has come down to the final possession with who wins," noted Wilder.
