Eriq Lewis Season 2010

2014: Played in all 12 games and started 10 at cornerback ... Finished fifth on the team with 47 tackles, one sack, four tackles for loss and a forced fumble ... He had seven tackles apiece against WKU and Louisiana Tech ... Had a season-best nine tackles, a sack and forced fumble at UTEP ... He graduates as ODU's all-time leader in pass breakups.

2013: Played in nine games and started in three at cornerback ... Season was cut short due to a shoulder injury ... Finished the year with 20 tackles, 2.5 sacks, 5.5 tackles for loss and three pass breakups ... Had a solid season-opener at ECU, recording five tackles, 1.5 sacks and 3.5 tackles for loss ... The sacks were the first of his career ... Had three tackles, a forced fumble and .5 tackle for loss against Howard ... Had three stops and a sack in the win over Liberty.

2012: Appeared in 11 games making six starts at corner ... Made 25 tackles on the year with 2.5 tackles for loss and an interception ... Posted four tackles in the win over No. 18 New Hampshire ... Notched season-high six tackles and an interception in the win over William and Mary.

2011: Second Team All-CAA honoree and a member of the inaugural Jerry Rice Watch List for the FCS’ most outstanding freshman, led ODU with five interceptions and became the first Monarch with more than one interception in a game ...  The redshirt freshman had two picks at William & Mary in the regular season finale in the game’s final minutes to seal the victory and resulted in the Monarch cornerback earning CAA Defensive Player of the Week honors ... Lewis posted 41 tackles, a team-leading nine pass break-ups and 14 passes defended along with three forced fumbles ... He ranks among the top-10 in interceptions among FCS defenders and was the top freshman in the CAA in the category. Lewis also ranked third in league in fumbles forced.

2010: Redshirted.

HIGH SCHOOL: Helped Coolidge to a 6-4 season ... Posted one punt return for a touchdown and four interceptions.

PERSONAL: Born February 11, 1992 ... Son of William Lewis and Luthrecia Wiley...Has one brother, Demetrius, and two sisters Khaci and Emoni ... Majoring in physical education.
