Kevin Reihner is in his third season overall coaching the offensive line at Old Dominion.

In 2021, Reihner helped guide the offensive line to have the third best rushing offensive in Conference USA and helped Blake Watson secure the third 1,000-yard season by an ODU back in program history. ODU set the single-game record for rushing yards in the second game of the year against Hampton, when the Monarchs rushed for 358 yards in the 47-7 win over the Pirates.

Despite a young offensive line that featured just one senior, All-Conference selection Isaac Weaver, ODU ran for more than 100-yards in 9-of-12 contests and three times for more than 200-yards. Early in the season the Monarchs were trying to establish a starting five, and was one of just three schools in the country to have a different starting offensive line for the first five games of the season. The starting unit of Khadere Kounta at left tackle, Tyran Hunt at left guard, Isaac Weaver at center, Leroy Thomas at right guard and Nick Saldiveri at right tackle started the final five games of the year.

Reihner helped develop Saldiveri and Weaver into All-Conference USA performers, while Santana Saunders earned C-USA All-Freshman accolades.

He was a graduate assistant coaching the offensive line during his year at Penn State.  During this one season at Penn State, The Nittany Lions finished 15th in the country in scoring at 35.8.

Prior to this season, he was the tight ends coach at Delaware. While at Delaware, Reihner helped the Blue Hens to the 2018 FCS Playoffs for the first time since 2010. Tight End Charles Scarff was named an FCS All-American and first-team All-CAA.

Reihner was a graduate assistant offensive line coach in 2017 at Wake Forest and helped the Demon Deacons finish 8-5 and end the year with a Belk Bowl win over Texas A&M.

Reihner began his coaching career as the offensive quality control coach at Fordham, and helped the Rams to an 8-3 record.

He played in three-straight BCS bowl games as an offensive lineman at Stanford before transferring to Penn State as a grad transfer. At Penn State, he was a letterwinner that helped the Nittany Lions to the TaxSlayer Bowl.

Reihner and his wife Jo, reside in Virginia Beach.
