2024: Started in 14 of his 15 appearances, beginning the season as ODU's Friday starter before moving into the Sunday role in conference play ... Owned a 3-3 record with a 5.40 ERA ... Finished second on the team in strikeouts with 60 ... Retired 10-straight batters and held George Washington to three runs as he picked up the win on Feb. 17. He struck out eight over five innings pitched ... Got the win against App State on May 12 in what was Senior Day for the Monarchs. He took over for ODU in the 11th and 12 innings, tossing two scoreless frames with one walk, no hits allowed and a pair of strikeouts ... Improved to 3-3 with a win at Georgia State on May 18. Brown held the Panthers to one run on two hits and two walks with five strikeouts in a 3.2-inning start. He retired the first seven batters and struck out the side in the first inning ... Made a 4.0-inning start against No. 5 Georgia Southern on May 23 at the Sun Belt Championship. He was tagged for three runs on two hits and no walks and set a new season high with nine strikeouts.
2023: Started in eight games and appeared in 18 … Threw 23 strikeouts and allowed only 17 walks and 28 earned in 41 innings pitched … Recorded five strikeouts in a win against Fordham on Feb. 26 … Allowed zero hits and zero runs in one inning pitched against Appalachian State on April 22 … In a March 14 win against Princeton, Brown allowed only one hit and threw two strikeouts in his three shutout innings.
