ORLANDO, Fla.Bryce Mortimer finished in second place in the 200 IM and Zachary Redding took third in the 50 freestyle to lead Old Dominion Swimming on Day One of the ASUN Swimming Championships in Orlando, Florida.

Linnea Kallebo began the night for ODU with a 12th place finish in the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:02.66. Sophia Kapla followed with a 12th place spot in a time of 5:05.60.

Grey Bremer took fourth in the 500 free with a time of 4:25.94. Nick Martin added a 13th place spot in a time of 4:30.42.

Kristilynn Mosley finished 14th in the 200 IM with a time of 2:06.62.

Mortimer earned a second-place finish in the 200 IM with a time of 1:46.64. Bryant Julian came in 13th with a time of 1:50.67 and Lucas Abd finished in 14th with a time of 1:51.19.

Redding came in third in the 50 freestyle with a time of 19.60.

The women’s 200 medley relay team of Addison Elliott, Adrienne Rinker, Emma Seidel and Bella Pachek came in fifth with a time of 1:42.18.

The men’s 200 medley relay team of Mortimer, Toni Sallaku, Dawson Truong and Jordan Smolsky finished fifth with a time of 1:29.64.

Day two continues tomorrow with the prelims at 10 a.m. and the finals beginning at 6 p.m.
