KNOXVILLE, Tenn.– The Old Dominion University men’s swimming team earned a podium position in every event on the first night of the Atlantic Sun Championships on Wednesday night at the University of Tennessee Aquatic Center.

Grey Bremer set the ODU record in the 500 freestyle to open the championship, as he finished in third with a time of 4:25.93.

Bryce Mortimer followed with a third-place finish in the 200 IM with a time of 1:47.16.

In the 50 free, Zachary Redding notched an NCAA B-cut time of 19.65 to earn a second-place finish. Jamie Cleaver followed with a sixth-place spot in a time of 20.02.

The 200-medley relay team of Gustaf Hansson, August Eriksson, Cleaver and Redding set ODU’s second record of the night with a time of 1:27.24, to finish in second.

The meet continues tomorrow with prelims at 10 a.m. and finals at 6 p.m.
