NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion men's basketball head coach Jeff Jones announced on Thursday morning the signing of Yamari Allette as part of the 2023 recruiting class. He is a 6-foot-5, 180-pound guard from Toronto, Ontario, Canada and United Scholastic Academy.
"Yamari is a hardworking, mild mannered young man with tons of potential. We are thrilled to have him join the Monarch Family," said Jones.
Allette was a combo guard at United Scholastic Academy as a senior and averaged 16.7 points, 3.2 assists and 6.7 rebounds per game. He earned Second Team All-Tournament honors at the prestigious Beach Ball Classic in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
He joins his younger twin brother Vasean, Devin Ceaser and Daniel Pounds as members of the 2023 recruiting class.
