KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Tara Enneking placed fourth in the women's 100 backstroke to lead Old Dominion University on the third day of the CCSA Championships Friday night at the University of Tennessee.
Enneking led the Monarchs on day three with a fourth place finish in the women's 100 backstroke with a time of 54.58.
The event started with the men's 100 backstroke where Gustaf Hansson placed sixth with a time of 49.26, Jordan Davis took 11th with a time of 50.48 and Ben Scattenberg took 13th out of 16 with a time of 50.85.
The next event was the women's 100 backstroke where Tara Enneking took fourth with a time of 54.58. Peri Farling took seventeenth with a time of 55.54 and Kiersten Donnelly took nineteenth out of 23 with a time of 56.23.
Bryce Mortimer took ninth in the men's 100 breaststroke with a time of 56.08 and Gavin Cooper took 13 out of 15 with a time of 57.20.
In the women's 100 breaststroke, Gabby Tosi placed 20 out of 24 with a time of 1:05.09.
In the men's 200 butterfly out of the 16 participants ODU placed 12 through 16. Zander Johnson took 12th with a time of 1:51.94, Oskar Iwarsson took 13th with a time of 1:52.31. AJ Capizzi took 14th with a time of 1:52.92, Tristen Wells finished 15th with a time of 1:53.52 and taking 16th was Owen Rolph with a time of 1:53.60.
In the women's 200 butterfly, Elin Sigurgeirsottir placed 14th out of 24 with a time of 2:06.06.
Old Dominion took third out of five in the men's 800 freestyle relay. The team of Noah Wilkins, Ben Schattenberg, Carson Doll, and Ryan Lincicum finished with a time of 6:39.78.
In the women's 800 freestyle relay ODU placed seventh out of 11. Cara O'Toole, Brigid Donnelly, Miranda Byrne, and Tara Enneking finished with a time of 7:31.11.
