NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion men's basketball team heads into the month of March with a road matchup at Louisiana Tech on Wednesday night.  The game will be at 7 p.m. and will be available on C-USA.tv.
 
ODU (12-17, 7-9) comes in after winning a pair of games at home last weekend defeating Florida Atlantic 70-51 on Thursday, and FIU by an 83-63 count.
 
Kalu Ezikpe was named C-USA Player of the Week last week after averaging 15.5 points and 12.0 rebounds in the wins.  He opened the weekend with 17 points and a career-high 17 rebounds as Old Dominion defeated Florida Atlantic.  Two days later, Ezikpe had 14 points and seven rebounds as the Monarchs defeated FIU.  On the year, Ezikpe is averaging 11.4 points and 7.2 rebounds per game while hitting 52% from the field and 72.6% from the foul line.
 
C.J. Keyser leads the team in scoring averaging 14.1 points per game, while Austin Trice is behind him at 13.1 points and a team best 8.9 rebounds per game.  After Ezikpe, Jaylin Hunter is averaging 9.7 points and 4.4 assists per game.
 
As a team, the Monarchs have scored one more point than allowed through 29 games.  From the field, they're hitting .438, while opponents are hitting .416.
 
Louisiana Tech (20-8, 11-5) is topped by Kenneth Lofton, Jr. who is averaging 16.6 points and 10.6 rebounds per game.  Lofton joins Trice as the only players in C-USA games to average a double-double.  He is joined in double figures by Amorie Archibald (13.0 ppg), Keaston Willis (12.0 ppg) and Cobe Williams (11.1 ppg). 
 
As a team, the Bulldogs are scoring 77.4 points per game, while allowing 68.9.  Louisiana Tech is hitting .461 from the field and allowing opponents to hit .415. 
 
ODU returns home for Senior Day with a 2 p.m. tip against Middle Tennessee on Saturday to close out the regular season.
