NORFOLK, Va. – Coming off a dramatic 62-61 win over Longwood on Friday, the Old Dominion men's basketball team starts a stretch of four of their next five games on the road by visiting East Carolina on Tuesday night.
 
This is a rematch of the second game in the Myrtle Beach Invitational when the Pirates defeated Old Dominion (3-4) 73-60 on November 19.  In that contest, Kalu Ezikpe had 16 points to lead Old Dominion and Charles Smith IV added 12.
 
Old Dominion rallied in the second half against Longwood and used a Mekhi Long buzzer-beating layup to score the 62-61 win on Friday.  Long had a career-best 18 points to go with four blocked shots, while C.J. Keyser added 12 to lead the win.
 
The Monarchs are led in scoring by Keyser averaging 12.0 points per game, while Ezikpe is averaging 11.3 points and a team high 6.7 rebounds per game.  Jaylin Hunter is just off the double figure group averaging 9.7 points per contest, while leading in assists (4.2) and steals (2.1) per game.
  
East Carolina (5-2) enters the game off a buzzer-beating 70-68 win over Coppin State on Saturday.  Tristen Newton leads the team in scoring (19.9 ppg), free throw percentage (.853) and assists (4.4 apg), while Brandon Suggs joins him in double figures at 12.3 per game.  Brandon Johnson leads the Pirates in rebounding at 9.1 per contest.

Men's basketball season tickets cost $215 and include tickets for the Monarchs' exhibition on Nov. 6 and all 14 of ODU's regular season home games. Women's basketball season tickets cost $115 for adults and $250 for courtside seating and include tickets to all 15 of the Monarchs' home games. Special pricing is available for senior citizens, ODU faculty and staff, and members of the military. Call the ODU Ticket Office at 757-683-4444 to receive special pricing. New this season, fans can select season tickets for men's games in section 108 for the promotional price of $110. For women's games, fans can select season tickets from sections 107, 108, and 109 for the price of $75.
 
Season tickets represent a savings of more than $50 for men's games and $45 for women's games, over single-game tickets. Single-game ticket prices start at $18 for men's games and $11 for women's games, with special pricing for senior citizens, ODU faculty and staff, youth (12 and younger) and members of the military. ODU students can register for student tickets for free to any ODU men's and women's home game.
