NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion men's basketball team (2-2, 0-0 C-USA) will host Northeastern (1-2, 0-0 CAA) on Sunday, Dec. 20 at 2:00 p.m. EST at Chartway Arena. Sunday afternoon's contest will stream for FREE on www.ODUSports.com.

Sunday's game will also air across the ODU Sports Radio Network, with Ted Alexander and Dave Twardzik's live pregame show beginning at 1:30 p.m. ET.
 
All-Time Series:
Sunday afternoon will mark the 15th all-time meeting between these two programs, as ODU leads the all-time series 9-5. These two schools last met on Nov. 16, 2019 in Boston, where Old Dominion claimed a 76-69 victory, which marked Jeff Jones' 500th career win as a head coach. ODU has won five of the last six meetings against Northeastern. The Monarchs are 4-2 when playing the Huskies in Norfolk. This series dates back to the 2005-06 season, when ODU won the first ever meeting by an 85-79 score.
 
Monarchs
The Monarchs have been led by a balanced scoring attack so far this season as four players are currently averaging double figures: Malik Curry (17.0 ppg), Joe Reece (11.5 ppg), Kalu Ezikpe (11.3 ppg) and A.J. Oliver II (11.0 ppg). Ezikpe leads the team in rebounding, hauling down 7.8 boards per contest, while Curry leads the squad in assists, dishing out 4.5 assists per outing. Austin Trice is chipping in 7.8 points and 7.3 rebounds in 19.3 minutes of work per game for the Monarchs.
 
Huskies
Northeastern enters Sunday's contest with a 1-2 overall record, most recently coming off a 62-56 loss against Syracuse at the Carrier Dome. The Huskies started the 2020 season by splitting games with Massachusetts. Tyson Walker currently leads the Huskies with an 18.7 points per game average, while Jahmyl Telfort (13.3 ppg) and Jason Strong (12.0 ppg) follow.
 
Bill Coen is in the midst of his 15th season at the helm for the Huskies. Coach Coen needs just eight more wins at Northeastern to catch Jim Calhoun's 250 from 1972-86.
