RICHMOND, Va. -- Old Dominion completed the season sweep of rival VCU with a 7-5 win over the Rams at The Diamond in Richmond on Tuesday evening.

Old Dominion (22-14), trailing 5-3, scored four runs in the eighth inning, all with two outs. Tommy Bellpunctuated the rally with a go-ahead, 2-RBI double that he ended up scoring on due to a VCU error.

The four-run eighth for ODU came after VCU (27-10) scored four in the bottom half of the seventh to take the lead. 

Postgame Interviews: Finwood | Bell

Vinnie Pasquantino went 2-for-5 with a home run and two RBIs. Pasquantino now has a team-leading seven home runs.

Andy Garriola and Ryan Teschko also had multi-hit games, while Matt Schwarz drove in two runs.

On the mound, Jason Hartline provided the Monarchs with a strong start, allowing one run in three innings. Aaron Holiday earned his third win of the year and Trey Fisher picked up his fourth save, and third in the last three games.

Matt Busher was also strong out of the pen, tossing three shutout frames.

The Monarchs are now 9-1 in midweek games.
