GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Old Dominion women’s golf team finished in 12th place at the Lady Paladin Invitational.
“We didn’t play our best this week and that’s just golf,” said head coach Mallory Hetzel. “We are happy that we have some time to prepare for the Princess Anne Invitational. We look forward to what we will be a historic weekend for our program in two weeks.”
The Furman course played 6,278 yards, in a field of three top-50 nationally ranked teams.
To open the tournament, ODU posted a 297 team score before posting back-to-back 299 team scores to close out the event.
Individually, Sana Tufail led the team posting a four over 220. Highlighted by her even par second round, Noemie Sudron finished with a 225 54-hole score. Charlotte De Corte, Jana Melichova and Abigail Portyrata all finished in the top-65 of the Lady Paladin Invitational.
