CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Old Dominion continued its Sunday winning ways with a 7-0 victory over Charlotte in the series finale at Hayes Stadium, marking ODU's second shutout in the last six games.

The Monarchs (12-26, 5-13 C-USA) improved to 6-2 on Sundays.

Four different pitchers combined on a five-hit shutout for ODU. In his second start of the week, Jason Hartline (3 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 1 K) opened the game and was followed by Jim Wilkerson (2 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 1 K), Corey Klak (3 IP, 1 H, 0 R) and Isaiah Nelson (1 IP, 0 H, 0 R). Wilkerson was credited with the win, the first of his ODU career. 

At the plate, ODU posted 11 hits, marking the sixth consecutive game with 10+ hits. Brian Morley (2-4, HR, 3 RBI) and Will Morgan (1-4, HR, RBI) both homered for the Monarchs, while Erik Stock (2-4, 2B, R), Tommy Bell (2-4, 2B, RBI, R) and Craig Lopez (2-4, RBI) also recorded multi-hit games.

For the weekend, the Monarchs hit .314 as a team and four players hit .400 or better, led by Stock (.583) and Lopez (.500).

Charlotte (21-18, 9-9 C-USA) still won the series with close victories on Friday and Saturday.

Up next, the Monarchs take on Virginia in the Commonwealth Classic presented by TowneBank at Harbor Park on Tuesday at 12 p.m. ET.
