ATHENS, Ga. - Filip Svedberg won the 100 butterfly with an NCAA B-Cut time as Old Dominion University men's swimming and diving sits in second place heading into the final day of the CCSA Championships. Incarante Word remains in first place with 592 points as ODU has 503 points and Florida Atlantic is in third with 412.5.
Svedberg started the day for ODU with a time of 47.74 in the 100 butterfly and the first race win of the day for the Monarchs.
Nick Wukovits followed with a second place in the 400 IM with an NCAA B-Cut time of 3:52.72.
Parker Harp nabbed third place in the 200 freestyle in a time of 1:39.70 for his second-straight podium finish.
ODU had a pair of podium finishers in the 100 breaststroke as Wukovits finished second and Peter Durisin third, both with NCAA B-Cut times.
Anton Mikaelsson added a third place finish in the 100 backstroke with a time of 49.55.
In the final event of the night, the 400 medley relay, the Monarchs finished second with a time of 3:16.01.
The fourth and final day of the championships begins tomorrow at 10 am. with prelims as the finals start at 6 p.m.
