NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion Universtiy football hosts Charlotte on Saturday, Oct. 17 at 3:30 p.m. The contest will be broadcast on the American Sports Network. It is also ODU's homecoming.

Homecoming NotesTailgate lots open at 10 a.m. and close at 10:30 a.m.
The homecoming parade begins at 11 a.m.
At 12:30 p.m. the tailgate lots reopen.

Game Preview:• Both teams come into the game with 2-3 records and are coming off of a bye. 

• The Monarchs are led by sophomore running back Ray Lawry, who leads Conference USA with 635 yards and a league best seven rushing touchdowns.

• Junior receiver Zach Pascal leads the team with 14 receptions while Jonathan Duhart has a team-best 132 receiving yards.

• TJ Ricks has a team-best 50 tackles while sophomore safety Justice Davila has 43 tackles and senior safety Fellonte Misher has 36 tackles and four pass breakups.

• The Monarchs are 33-11 all-time at home, all 44 home contests have been sold out.  The .750 winning percentage is the 18th best in the FBS.

• ODU is 5-3 all-time after a bye, including a 30-27 overtime win over Louisiana Tech after their last bye of 2014.

• The Monarchs are 45-8 all-time when scoring 30 or more points and 9-15 when scoring less than 30. One of those wins was a 24-10 victory over Norfolk State earlier this season.

Ray Lawry leads Conference USA in rushing yards with 635 and rushing touchdowns with seven. He is tied with Louisiana Tech’s Kenneth Dixon with eight total touchdowns.

Senior Fellonte Misher finished with seven tackles against Appalachian State and now has 219 career tackles.  He is just 7 tackles away from tying for second on the all-time tackles list. He is currently third on the team with 36 tackles, is secodn on the team with four pass breakups and has two forced fumbles.
