NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University football held its second scrimmage of the spring on Saturday afternoon at Foreman Field at S.B. Ballard Stadium.

"It was just a great day overall, we got about 90 plays overall. I felt it was a much different outcome, particularly the defense. The first 35 snaps the defense gave up only one touchdown. It was a much better performance by our defense today," ODU Head Coach Bobby Wilder said.

A week after the offense dominated, Bunmi Rotimi and TJ Ricks tackled Ray Lawry for a 4-yard loss on the first play of the scrimmage.  Lawry followed with runs of 10 and 20 yards while Rashaad Coward notched a sack and tackle for loss.

Shuler Bentley hit Blair Roberts for a 20-yard gain while Oshane Ximines followed with a sack.

Bentley followed with a 40-yard toss to Melvin Vaughn with Lawry finishing the drive off on a 3-yard touchdown run.

Blake LaRussa rounded out the day with touchdown passes to Zach Pascal and Jonathan Duhart.
