SERIES VS. CHARLOTTE
ODU leads 16-13. The Monarchs defeated Charlotte on Jan. 4, 61-54 as Trey Freeman led with 14 and Richard Ross added 12. Torin Dorn came off the bench to score 13 for the 49ers. ODU shot .429, while Chralotte shot .409 from the field. Charlotte last beat ODU in the Ted in 2003-04, 105-102 overtime game.
LAST GAME
Trey Freeman scored 24 points and Richard Ross added 11 points and seven rebounds to lead ODU to a 68-57 come-from-behind win against FAU before 7,453 at the Ted. FAU was led by Solomon Poole with 15 points. ODU shot .509 and held the Owls to .375 percent from the field and ODU committed only 4 turnovers.
