ODU leads the series, 1-0. The Monarchs defeated the Panthers last year in Miami, 52-36, as Keenan Palmore led with 17 points along with six rebounds. FIU is coached by former Norfolk State head coach, Anthony Evans. FIU's Dennis Mavin leads C-USA in scoring at 17.2 points per game, while Adrian Diaz leads the league in field goal percentage at .654. FIU also leads the league in field goal percentage defense at .398.

LAST GAME  
ODU lost its second straight road game, 81-68 at UAB. The Blazers shot a blistering .703 (26-37) from the field and .923 (24-26) from the line and had five players in double figures.
