SERIES VS. VCU
VCU leads the series, 45-42. Last year, the Rams defeated ODU, 61-48 in Richmond and68-64 here in the Constant Center. The previous season, ODU beat VCU in two of threemeetings, including at VCU and in the CAA Championship game.

ODU's Nick Wright scored 16 points, but Richmond defeated the Monarchs, 80-53 Tuesday night.UR was led by Cedrick Lindsay with 19 points. The win was the first ever for the Spiders in the Constant Center and their first win against ODU in Norfolk since beating the Monarchs, 77-73 in double overtime in 2000-01 at Scope. Joining Lindsay in double figures were Greg Robbins and Darien Brothers with 14 points each. Richmond shot .574 (31-54) for the game while the Monarchs shot .317 (19-60). The Spiders led throughout the contest. DeShawn Painter hauled down a game high 10 rebounds for ODU.
