ODU dropped its CAA opener at William and Mary Saturday, 71-62. With the score tied at 40-40, theTribe went on a 23-8 run the next 12 minutes for a 63-48 lead with less than five minutes reminaing.Monarch freshman Keenan Palmore led ODU with a career high 17 points along with six rebounds andFive assists. Nick Wright added 12 points. W&M shot .500 from the field and rebounding was even at33-33. It was the Tribe's first win over ODU since the 2008 CAA tournament.
