SERIES VS. UCF
The series is tied 1-1. ODU won the first meeting, 61-57 in a Thanksgiving tournament played in Greenville, SC. 1990-00. UCF defeated the Monarchs last year in Orlando, 61-53 as Keith Clanton scored 23 with 16 rebounds and Marcus Jordan added 16. Kent Bazemore led ODU with 16 and Dimitri Batten added12.

Senior forward DeShawn Painter scored a career high 26 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in the Monarchs, 83-70 loss to arch-rival VCU Friday night. Donte Hill added 13 points with six assists and four steals. Anton Larsen grabbed a career high seven rebounds. VCU was led by Troy Daniels with 24 points, followed by Treveon Graham scored 23 points and nine rebounds. The lost was ODU's seventh straight.The crowd of 8.008 was the 36th time for the Constant Center.
