The game is part of the OPTIMA HEALTH CHALLENGE Standings. For the second consecutive year, ODU and W&M have partnered with title sponsor, Optima Health, for the Optima Health Challenge. The Optima Health Challenge is a running score of all the direct competitions between the two schools, with a champion being named at the end of the 2012-13 athletic season and receiving the Optima Health Trophy. The scoring system awards 10 points for the overall winner in every regular season ODU-W&M athletic competition (for instance, in football, the winner of the Nov. 12th matchup received 10 points; in baseball, the winner of the regular season three-game series will receive 10 points). A total of 120 points (10 points for Football, 10 points for MBB, 10 points for WBB, and 10 points per nine Olympic Sports) will be awarded for 2012-13. The winning school will be the first to tally 65 points.Thus far the score is tied 20-20 with ODU winning in field hockey and football and W&M winning both M&W soccer.

TRIBE TO HOST SHOELESS SHOWDOWN

Fans that bring a new pair of children's or adult's shoes to the game, will receive a free ticket to the game. All shoes will be donated to theWilliamsburg Salvation Army.

SERIES VS. W&M

ODU leads the series, 66-16. The Monarchs have won nine straight meetings dating backto 2007-08 when the Tribe beat the Monarchs, 63-60 in the CAA tournament. W&M alsobeat ODU in the regular season, 70-61 at ODU.

LAST GAME

The Monarchs lost at Murray State Saturday night, 79-72. Donte Hill scored a career high 16points along with eight rebounds, while freshman Deion Clark added a career high 12 pointsand senior DeShawn Painter scored 13 along with 11 rebounds. The game was tied six timesin the second half. ODU outrebounded Murray, 41-30, but shot .446 to the Racers .491.

Kent Bazemore NBA UPDATE

The two-time CAA Defensive Player of The Year has appeared in six games thus farfor the Golden State Warriors. He played six minutes against the Lakers on Nov. 9th, grabbingtwo rebounds, blocked two shots with one assist. He had two steals on Nov. 18 against OklahomaCity.
