NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University women's soccer is back in action on Sunday, Sept. 9 for the second of a five-game home stand as they take on VMI at 5 p.m. at the ODU Soccer Stadium.
The game will take place after the STIHL Soccer Classic.
Old Dominion comes into the weekend with a 1-4 overall record while VMI is 1-2 on the year.
The Lady Monarchs are coming off a 1-0 loss to Liberty while the Keydets defeated South Carolina Aiken 1-0 for their first win of the year.
Taylor Mertz and Nikki Clarke lead ODU with a goal and assist each. Brianna Alvarado leads the team with a 1.52 goals against average and 27 saves while Laura Bush made nine saves on Sunday in the loss to Liberty.
VMI has scored just one goal on the year, a goal from Erika Boggs in the win over USC Aiken.
Mackenzie Harrmann has started every game for VMI, making seven saves and posting a 1.57 GAA.
