Wilson Finishes 14th At National Singlehanded Championships; Lady Monarchs Claim Fourth at MAISA Women's Fall Conference Regatta

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - Old Dominion senior sailor Morgan Wilson finished 14th at the 2010 ICSA Women's Singlehanded National Championships in St. Petersburg, Fla.

Yale's Claire Dennis won the title by just one point, edging out Anne Haeger of Boston College.

Wilson completes her fall singlehanded season by finishing fourth at the MAISA Conference Championships and 14th at nationals.

Old Dominion also competed at the MAISA Match Race and MAISA Women's Fall conference regatta.

At the MAISA Match Race, Old Dominion finished fifth. The Monarchs just missed the semifinals, which included the top four squads.

The ODU team, comprised of Stephanie Roble, Collin Leon, Scott Hoffmann and Shannon Wilkins finished with a 5-4 record.

Katie Cummings and Jill Fattibene led ODU at the MAISA Women's Fall Regatta, garnering second in the B-Division. The duo won two races and posted nine top five finishes in 11 races. Corina Radtke and Jordan Stock guided the Lady Monarchs to a fifth-place result in the A-Division.

Georgetown won the MAISA Women's Fall, while St. Mary's came out on top in the Match Race.
