LADY MONARCH MOMENTS:
The Lady Monarchs have just four games left on the schedule including Sunday's match-up with George Mason.
The Patriots will host Old Dominion in its PinkZone game on Sunday. This will be the third game this season the Lady Monarchs have participated in a breast cancer awareness game. Old Dominion was Drexel's opponent in its PinkZone game at the Daskalakis Center on February 12th and hosted Delaware in its annual Hoops For A Cure game last Sunday.
The Lady Monarchs close out the season series with the Patriots on Sunday. Old Dominion won the first meeting with George Mason, 73-42, back on January 15th at the Ted Constant Convocation Center.
Sophomore Shadasia Green led the Lady Monarchs in scoring in Thursday's loss at Hofstra with 14 points. It was the second time this season and in her career the second year Lady Monarch had led her team in scoring.
Junior Jessica Canady posted her sixth double-double of the year with her 12-point, 14-rebound performance in Thursday's 51-66 loss to the Pride.
The five losses for the Lady Monarchs in CAA action this season are tied for the most for ODU in CAA action since suffering five losses in 1991-92, their first year in the league. That season, however, Old Dominion went on to capture the first of its NCAA record 17 straight CAA titles.

LAST TIME VS. GEORGE MASON:
With three of its starters on the bench, the Old Dominion women's basketball team still managed to cruise to its 44th straight victory over the George Mason Patriots with a 73-42 victory Thursday night at the Ted Constant Convocation. Five Lady Monarchs scored in double figures with sophomore Jasmine Parker scoring a game-high 16 points, sophomore Sierra Little pouring in a career-high 14 points in her first career start, and senior Tiffany Green collecting her sixth double-double of the year with 14 points and 14 rebounds. The Lady Monarchs used a 21-0 run in the first half to break open the game. Old Dominion held the Patriots scoreless for seven and half minutes during the run and would close out the first half of play up 36-17. The scoring barrage continued in the second half for the Lady Monarchs with Old Dominion leading by as much as 35. The Patriots never pulled any closer than 18 in the second half. The Lady Monarchs limited the Patriots to just 26.3 percent from the floor (15-of-57), the lowest field goal percentage by an ODU opponent in 2008-09. Additionally, the 42 points scored by the Patriots were the fewest allowed by an Old Dominion opponent this season. Mason was led by Brittany Poindexter. The lone Patriot in double figures, Poindexter recorded 10 points. Also scoring in double figures for the Lady Monarchs Thursday night was freshman Mairi Buchan with 10, and senior Jen Nuzzo with 11, one point shy of tying her season mark.
