NORFOLK, Va. -- The #19/22 Old Dominion Monarchs wrestling team (13-2) plays host to the Bison of Bucknell (5-7-1) this Sunday at the Ted Constant Convocation Center at 1:00 pm. ODU will look to extend a current six-match winning streak at home and their perfect 3-0 tally within the confines of The Ted. The 133- and 165-lb matchups on Sunday will boast nationally ranked grapplers on both sides of the mat. Admission to the match is free for students with a valid ID, $6 for adults and $4 for children, faculty/staff, seniors and military personnel.

Bucking Bucknell
ODU has started the season with the best 15-dual record since 1990-91 at 12-3 and will look to use that momentum against Bucknell this weekend at home. ODU is also currently riding a six-match home winning streak, dating back to February 3, 2006. ODU has never defeated Bucknell, as the Bison lead the all-time series 0-2.

The 22nd ranked Monarchs play host to a Bucknell team that has started 5-7-1 in duals this season. They boast two nationally ranked grapplers, David Marble at 133 pounds and Andy Rendos at 165 pounds. Both Bison will have to face two nationally ranked wrestlers for ODU, Kyle Hutter and Chris Brown, respectively.

Scouting the Bison
The Monarchs will be the fourth nationally ranked team that Bucknell has faced this season. #5 Michigan, #12 Hofstra, and #8 Missouri all defeated the Bison earlier this season. Against Hofstra, Bucknell managed four wins, including a pin, to fall just 24-15. ODU battled to a 22-19 loss with Hofstra just last weekend.

The Bison's top wrestlers are David Marble at 133 lbs and Andy Rendos at 165 lbs. Both are nationally ranked in the top twenty and Rendos leads the team in wins (18), major decisions (8) and pins (4).

Bucknell holds a 2-0 advantage in the all-time series, but the teams have not matched up since 1987.
