Ryne Moore is in his first season with the Monarchs in 2025. He joined the ODU staff in August 2024 and serves as the program’s Director of Player Development and Analytics.
A former Monarch, he was drafted in the 18th round of the 2021 MLB draft by the Milwaukee Brewers after he earned Second-Team All-Conference USA honors. He spent three seasons in Minor League Baseball with the Arizona Complex League Brewers, Carolina Mudcats and Wisconsin Timber Rattlers. He finished his career with a 2-7 record, a 3.95 ERA in 95.2 innings pitched, and 78 strikes.
In his time at ODU, he appeared in 56 games over four seasons (2018-2021). In 2021 he made 17 appearances with 14 starts, went 9-1 with a 3.16 ERA and held opponents to a .236 batting average. He finished his collegiate career with a 17-8 record, a 3.82 ERA and 169 strikes. In 2021, he led ODU with nine wins and a 3.16 ERA, and helped the team win 2-1 over South Carolina in the NCAA Regional.
