Shane Baker is in his fifth season as special teams quality control coach at Old Dominion.
Baker was with the Monarchs last season as a special teams analyst. Baker helped lead an ODU special teams unit that led the nation in blocked punts and kicks and had the ninth best kick return average (LaMareon James) in the country.
Prior to joining Old Dominion, Baker spent two years as a defensive backs graduate assistant at Shippensburg (Pa.).
Baker got his collegiate coaching career started at Lock Haven, coaching the running backs in 2018.
A 2018 graduate of Lock Haven with a degree in health and physical education, Baker played for the Bald Eagles from 2014-17.
