Aaron Rittgers is in his third season at Old Dominion as the assistant director of sports performance.
Rittgers worked at Penn State as a performance enhancement consultant in 2018. He assisted with the daily implementation of the strength, speed and agility program for the Nittany Lions.
Prior to joining Penn State, he spent the previous four years as the head strength and condition coach at Olentangy Liberty High School in Ohio.
He worked as a strength and condition intern at Ohio State, Denison University (Ohio) and started his career at Kent State.
Rittgers was a two-year starter on the defensive line at Capital University (Ohio). He graduated in 2012 with a degree in health and fitness management.
