Casey McHugh is in his first season as a graduate assistant coach at Old Dominion and is assisting with the linebackers.
McHugh joined ODU in 2019 as a quality control coach working with the quarterbacks.
Prior to joining the Monarchs, McHugh was an assistant coach at Delaware Valley University in 2018 and worked with the quarterbacks.
McHugh played four years at Division III Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) where the team won a share of the Liberty League Championship and played in two ECAC bowl games. He started his career at quarterback before transitioning to wide receiver and played on special teams as well.,
McHugh graduated from RPI in 2016 with a bachelor of science degree in aerospace engineering.
