2020: Played in nine games, starting eight at cornerback ... Recorded 24 tackles and was third on the team with nine pass breakups ... Also recorded two tackles for loss ... Recovered one fumble and returned it 24 yards.

2019: Cray played in the final seven games of the season for the Hilltoppers after missing the first six contests while recovering from an injury he suffered during fall camp ... He made an immediate impact upon his return on Oct. 19 vs. Charlotte, recording an interception in his first action of the year ... He added a second interception later in the year on Nov. 30 vs. Middle Tennessee ... Along with those two picks, he recorded 10 tackles – including 0.5 for loss – and three pass breakups ... He had a season-high two pass breakups in the First Responder Bowl vs. Western Michigan ... He also led the team with five punt returns for 28 yards, including a long of 14 on Oct. 26 at Marshall.

2018: Cray recorded 27 tackles (17 solo, 10 assisted), including 1.5 for loss, and added one interception and two pass breakups, starting 11 contests and playing in all 12 games as a sophomore ... He had a career-high five tackles on Sept. 22 at Ball State and his first-career interception on Nov. 17 vs. UTEP, which he returned for seven yards ... It was 1-of-5 picks in the first half for the Hilltoppers, helping the defense set an FBS Era single-game record in the process ... Cray recorded one pass breakup on Sept. 8 vs. Maine and another on Nov. 2 at Middle Tennessee ... His first-career tackle for loss came on Sept. 15 at Louisville, while also adding three punt returns for 23 yards against the Cardinals, including a long of 13 yards.

2017: Cray was the lone WKU true freshman defender to play in every game, including four straight starts to begin the season ... For the year, the corner recorded 14 tackles (11 solo, three assisted) and a pair of pass breakups ... He started his Hilltopper career with four tackles and a knockdown in the season-opener vs. Eastern Kentucky, then added his second batted ball the following week at Illinois ... He also recorded multiple-tackle performances other times during his first season on The Hill.

HIGH SCHOOL:  competed on the varsity squad in all four years of high school football and ranked in the top 250 nationally (217) at cornerback ... Cray was a two-star prospect in the 247Sports composite ranking and an Associated Press All-State 7A first team member on defense, Florida’s highest division.
