2021: Played in all 13 games, starting 12 at safety ... Started 32 career games ... Finished his ODU career with 21 pass breakups, second most in school history to Brandon Addison's 24 ... Finished seventh on the squad with 58 tackles ... Recorded two interceptions, seven pass breakups, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and one tackle for loss ... Tied for the team lead with two interceptions ... Tied his career-high in tackles with seven three times, against Marshall, Charlotte and Tulsa ... Recorded his first interception since 2017 when he picked off a pass in the win at MTSU ... Intercepted a pass for the second-straight game, returned the INT 89 yards against Charlotte ... 2017: Conference USA All-Freshman Team ... Played in all 12 games, starting five at cornerback ... Had 36 tackles, two interceptions, one fumble recovery and a tackle for loss ... Tied for second on the team with two interceptions ... Led the team with six pass breakups ... Recorded five tackles in the win at UMass ... Had three tackles and his first career interception against WKU ... Recorded three tackles and an interception in his second-straight game, at North Texas ... Had a career-high seven tackles and a fumble return for 28 yards in the win at FIU ... Have five tackles apiece against Rice and Middle Tennessee.

High School: A three-star recruit by 247 sports and two-star recruit by ESPN … Rated No. 49 best recruit in Pennsylvania by ESPN … Earned first-team All-State honors … His senior year Bishop McDevitt won the District 3-AAA Championship and fell to Cathedral Prep in the state semifinals and finished with a 13-2 record … As a junior helped Bishop McDevitt to a 14-1 record and play in the Pennsylvania Class AAA semifinals … Recorded 45 tackles and seven interceptions, including returning one for a touchdown … His father, Joe Headen, is the head football coach at Susquehanna Township ... Played in the Big 33 All-Star Game.
