Tied for 10th in school history with 128 career tackles in just two years ... Had six tackles and two tackels for loss in the opening win over Hampton ... Had a career-high 11 tackels and half a tackle for loss in the win over EMU ... Was named C-USA Player of the Week for his performance against EMU ... Recorded nine tackles against MTSU ... Tied his career-high with 11 tackles at Vanderbilt ... Registered 10 tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss in the win over FIU ... Had four tackles and two tackles for loss in the overtime win over LA Tech ... Notched six tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss at FAU.

 

2013: Played in all 12 games, starting the season finale at UNC ... Finished fifth on the team with 39 tackles ... Had 6.5 tackles for loss and had a team-high three interceptions ... Forced one fumble and had one quarterback hurry ... Had a season-high nine tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss in the win over Albany ... Recorded his second INT of the year against the Great Danes ... Recorded four tackles, a tackle for loss and an interception versus Howard ... Had three tackles, two tackles for loss and an INT in the win at Idaho ... Registered seven tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss in the home finale against Campbell ... Started his first game of the year at UNC, and made three stops before leaving in the first half with an injury.

 

HIGH SCHOOL/ JUCO: Simon helped Navarro to a 10-2 record and the Southwest Junior College Football Conference championship. He finished second on the team in tackles with 61 and also recorded a sack and an interception. Simon becomes the ninth Navarro College player to join a Division I program this spring... Four-year starter at linebacker and safety ... Earned All-District and All-Houston Area honors ... Three-sport athlete, also played basketball and baseball.
