2013: Appeared in all 12 games including starting the final game at outside linebacker ... Set the ODU single-season kickoff return records for returns, 33, and kick return yards, 802, in a season ... His 1,693 career kickoff return yards is just 37 yards behind Colby Goodwyn's record of 1,730 ... He returned his first six kicks of the year for 97 yards at Maryland ... He followed with four returns for 149 yards, including a season-long 76-yarder in the win over Howard ... He also added punt return duties mid-way through the season, and returned his second ever punt 64-yards for a touchdown to start the comeback in ODU's 21-17 victory over Liberty ... Added 109 yards on five kick returns at Pittsburgh with a long of 32 ... Notched a 75-yard return against URI, his only return of the game ... He added a 37-yard return in the win at Idaho that set up a scoring drive ... Evans has six of the 10 highest totals of kickoff return yards in a game in ODU history, three of which happened this season ... 2011: Played in 12 games at corner and special teams ... Made 30 tackles (19 solo, 11 assisted) ... Tied his career high with four tackles in games with No. 20 UMass, Villanova, and Richmond ... Made his first career start against No. 10 JMU.

2010: Appeared in 10 games at corner and as a member of the special teams unit as a true freshman ... Totaled 13 tackles (6 solo, 7 assisted) including a season-high four stops at Campbell ... Posted seven kick returns for 190 yards ... Ran a kick back 92-yards for a touchdown against Savannah State, the longest Monarch kick return in the record books ... Also had three kick returns in the win over VMI registering 46 yards.

Played quarterback at Woodside passing for 1,522 yards and rushing for 1,261 in 2009 ... Became only the second quarterback in Peninsula District history to break four figures in each category ...
