2012:
Appeared in five games ... Recorded one tackle on the year in the win over Campbell. 2011:
Appeared in 11 games...Made 15 tackles (8 solo, 7 assisted)...Made a season-high three stops in the week seven victory at Villanova and week eight win over #9/10 James Madison, ODU's first win over a top-10 opponent...Made 3.5 tackles for loss with a six-yard loss in week eight at Villanova.

2010:
Appeared at defensive end in games with Gardner-Webb and #14/16 Cal Poly.

HIGH SCHOOL:
Played middle linebacker for Coach Joe Fowler and the Bulldogs, leading them to an A-Division 2 state championship in 2006 and three district titles... During his four years the Bulldogs posted a record of 47-4, including an undefeated 14-0 season in 2006... Was a First Team All-State selection by the Associated Press and the James River District Defensive Player of the Year as a senior after registering 103 tackles, nine tackles for loss, three fumble recoveries, four forced fumbles and an interception which he returned 95 yards... Selected to play in the 2008 VHSL All-Star Game...First Team All-District and all-region and second team all-state as a junior in 2006... Finished his junior campaign with 101 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, four fumble recoveries and three forced fumbles.

Born June 23, 1989... Son of Bernard and Kimberlyn McLaughlin...Majoring in sports management.
